What is Faith in Action?
“As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” — John 20:21
What Does Living the Kingdom (the Great Commission) Mean?
Jesus never intended a small class of “professional ministers” to carry the Gospel while everyone else watched from the sidelines. The moment you surrendered to Christ, you were commissioned as His ambassador. Living the Great Commission simply means letting His presence flow through your everyday routine—at work, at school, in the checkout line, around the dinner table—so that people encounter the love, truth, and power of Jesus wherever you go.
When your faith is active:
-
Every place becomes sacred space. Offices, cafés, and front porches turn into mission fields.
-
Every conversation carries hope. You listen for the Spirit’s whisper and speak words that heal hearts.
-
Every action points to Christ. Practical service, bold prayer, and genuine compassion reveal His Kingdom in real time.
Rhythms of Everyday Ministry
1. Abide & Hear
Begin each day in Scripture, worship, and stillness. A listening heart tunes in to God’s gentle nudges throughout the day.
2. See & Serve
Ask, “Who is in front of me right now?” Notice needs—big or small—and meet them with excellence, empathy, and generosity.
3. Speak & Share
Tell the story of what Jesus has done in you. Share testimonies naturally, offer to pray, and present the Gospel with clarity and kindness.
4. Pray & Expect
Lay hands on the sick, bless businesses, declare peace over anxious minds—confident that the Holy Spirit backs the message with power.
5. Disciple & Multiply
Walk alongside new believers. Teach them to follow Jesus and equip them to repeat the cycle with others. Movements start one life at a time.
Live Sent—Live Kingdom
The same Spirit who empowered the early church lives in you today. Step into Monday—school run, staff meeting, grocery line—as a sent one. Your ordinary moments are God’s chosen strategy to reach the world.
